Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Linden, NJ seeks a Merchandise Manager to lead merchandising and store operations, including truck processing, planogram execution, pricing, promotions, and visual standards. You will ensure in-stock levels, accuracy, and a customer-ready environment.

Responsibilities include partnering with leadership on staffing, training, and enforcing SOPs, while managing shipments, RTVs, ASN receiving, and loss prevention measures to minimize shrink.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience
• Experience leading SOPs and company programs
• Ability to manage truck processing, planograms, and visual standards
• Strong workload planning and inventory management

Responsibilities

• Lead SOP adherence and company program compliance
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership
• Oversee truck execution, unloading, sorting, and floor flow
• Plan workload and daily tasks with store leadership
• Execute SISO routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy
• Oversee planogram execution and visual merchandising standards
• Maintain pricing integrity and timely price changes
• Manage Ship from Store fulfillment, RTVs and ASN receiving
• Oversee store damages procedures and shrink reduction
• Train, coach, and develop team members; support asset protection
