Job summary

Club Demonstration Services (CDS) is seeking a full-time Event Manager - Product Demonstration to recruit, hire and supervise in-store Product Demonstrators, oversee preparation and presentation of products, and train staff for excellent service to Club members.

The role requires strong communication with warehouse managers, vendors and demonstrators, and may involve participation in new location grand openings. CDS is Costco's in-house event marketing partner and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor's preferred.
• Field of Study/Area of Experience: 3-5 years in client-side, branded CPG or related fields.
• Experience leading teams and managing staff in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication, organization and leadership abilities.
• Proficient with basic computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• NEHA Professional Food Handler Certification required (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Direct all activities for successful events, promotions and product sales.
• Communicate strategies to achieve sales, service and operational excellence.
• Support governance framework, policies and procedures development.
• Collaborate with District Manager to evaluate event performance metrics.
• Achieve revenue and net income objectives through activation and cost management.
• Optimize customer satisfaction and loyalty through operations improvements.
