Job summary

Crossmark Inc. in Wisconsin–Appleton is hiring an Associate to perform in-store food and non-food demonstrations. You will learn product details, engage customers, and drive sales while managing event equipment in store backrooms.

The role involves presenting products, maintaining a professional appearance, and following food safety guidelines during sample preparation and service. This is a part-time, store-based position with limited travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 months related experience and/or training preferred.
• Food Safety Professional Certification, Local Food handlers permit if required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies to keep them clean and secured in the backroom area.
• Communicate with store management about upcoming events when Supervisor is absent.
• Serve as the point person for all events in the store and assist other Event Specialists as needed.
• Provide leadership and knowledge to the team and support Supervisors.
• Proactively engage and interact with consumers to showcase products and drive sales.
• Prepare and serve food samples safely using appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, and coffee makers.
• Set up and prepare Event Table for execution and document success stories with photos.
• Complete expense reports and submit online requirements on the same day as events.
