MillerKnoll is seeking a Sales & Design Specialist in Austin to blend design sensibility with consultative selling. You will guide clients through a personalized journey, shaping spaces that support wellness and productivity.

The role combines design expertise with retail excellence, reporting to the General Manager. Weekend and extended hours eligibility are required to meet store needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales, interior design, or client-facing design consultation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design/rendering tools.
• Ability to lift/move items over 40 lbs and adhere to safety protocols.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and educate clients through in-store demonstrations and personalized consultations.
• Design tailored solutions that align with clients' needs, preferences, and wellness goals.
• Drive sales by building strong client relationships and proactively following up on leads.
• Collaborate with the A&D (Architecture & Design) community to grow brand awareness and partnerships.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure a premium store experience.
• Process transactions and manage orders with accuracy and efficiency.
