Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• 2-5 years sales and clientele experience preferred.
• Design experience and spatial intelligence.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
• Maintains professional appearance and wears required dress code when representing The Container Store.
• Knowledge and passion for following trends in the custom closets and retail industry.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner.
• Commitment to working scheduled hours with flexibility for extra hours.
• Clear written and verbal communication at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with customers to design customized plans in a clear and professional manner.
• Drives all services with each interaction: In-Home Designing, In-Home Organizing, installation, financing, and loyalty.
• Focuses on closing sales efficiently to build repeat and referral business.
• Maintains clear communication with Managers and Support Center to complete projects from inquiry to installation.
• Leads the sales floor and supports store initiatives in partnership with Managers.
• Remains current with training, product knowledge, promotions, processes and philosophies.
• Leads daily maintenance of the custom space area and visual presentation of the store.
• Represents the brand by modeling professional and productive behaviors.
• Uses company tools and email proficiently.
