Job summary

Product Connections is seeking an Associate to conduct in-store product demonstrations, engage consumers, and communicate features and benefits of both food and non-food items. You will prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies, while maintaining a professional appearance and on-brand style during events.

You will gain knowledge of the represented products, interact with store personnel to meet company objectives, and complete all on-line requirements on the day of event

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months’ related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in ability to use and navigate on a personal computer or personal mobile device using applications and internal systems.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local Food handlers permit may be required.
• Physical Demands: Stand and walk; lift up to 25 pounds; reach overhead; be exposed to cleaning chemicals.
• Language Skills: English is the primary language; bilingual may be required.

Responsibilities

• Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
• Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
• Prepare and serve foodsamples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffeemakers and knives.
• Maintain a clean, sterile and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
• Maintains a professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.
• Set up and prepares Event Table for execution.
• Achieves 100% execution on assigned work.
• Assist with preparation for client visits and completes audit corrections.
• Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
• Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
• Accurately prepare and submit all on-line requirements on the same day as Event execution.
• Access the internet, navigate company systems, use Microsoft Outlook, view documents.
