Job summary

Salon Services & Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Store Assistant in Spokane, WA to support in-store merchandising, customer service, and POS transactions. The role emphasizes excellent customer experience and accurate handling of transactions within a busy retail environment.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of retail sales experience, strong communication skills, and comfort with computers and math basics. Standing for shifts, light lifting up to 50 pounds, and in-store teamwork are expected.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year Retail Sales experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working with computers and POS systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Be readily available to assist and support incoming customers, providing a high level of customer service with a goal of 0 customer complaints.
• Engage customers with excellent customer service to make them feel welcome and comfortable in store.
• Contribute to sales and inventory goal attainment through promotion of products and excellent customer service.
• Assist in outbound customer communications by conducting outbound calls, sending or emailing thank you notes, and inviting customers to company held events.
• Maintain current knowledge of products and promotions to effectively assist customers.
• Assemble and disassemble Merchandise and Promotional Displays in a timely manner at the beginning and end of promotional periods.
• Manage and maintain stock in store.
• Maintain a clean and presentable environment for customers.
• All other duties as assigned.
