American Residential Services (ARS) is hiring In-Store Appointment Setters to work inside major home improvement retail locations in Charlottesville, VA. This is a high-energy sales role focused on customer engagement, lead generation, and appointment setting for ARS heating, cooling, and home comfort solutions.

Compensation: $22.00 per hour + uncapped commission, with earning potential $22–$30/hour. Weekly pay and paid training included. Flexible full-time and part-time schedules available.

Qualifications

• Willingness to approach and engage retail shoppers.
• Friendly, outgoing personality; sales experience a plus.
• Ability to stand/walk for up to 6 hours during shift.
• Reliable transportation to/from assigned store.
• Available for weekend retail hours (potential holidays).
• Clean, professional appearance to represent the ARS brand.
• Ability to attend weekly in-office meetings.

Responsibilities

• Start friendly, face-to-face conversations with shoppers about home comfort, energy efficiency, and indoor air quality.
• Act as a Brand Ambassador by educating customers on ARS heating and cooling services and home improvement solutions.
• Generate leads and schedule free in-home consultations.
• Enter customer information and book appointments for ARS specialists.
• Represent ARS with a professional and positive in-store presence.
• Support in-store promotions alongside retail management and ARS team members.
