Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking a Seamstress/Tailor to fulfill our mission of creating the most enjoyable shopping experience for our Guests. The role supports store alterations, including hemming jeans and pants, and requires precise sewing skills and customer-focused service.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of related sewing or alteration experience. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule and benefits after applicable waiting period.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related sewing, fitting, and alteration experience or training.
• Able to perform alterations and provide quality guest service.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality alterations on merchandise at store location.
• Follow ticket instructions and markings based on Guest specifications.
• Accommodate Guests with on the spot alterations when requested by Store Leaders.
• Meet deadlines and Guest expectations for merchandise alterations.
• Use Buckle sewing machine and supplies to perform alterations.
• Measure and mark alteration lines and pin alterations.
• Remove stitches and resew as needed.
• Press merchandise and repair defects as required.
• Record alterations and maintain alteration log.
