Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking an In Stock Specialist to lead in-stock integrity, pricing accuracy, and the AI-powered camera system. You’ll own on-shelf availability and ensure signage and tags reflect current promotions while maintaining high guest service standards.

In this fast-paced role, you’ll coordinate with teams to maintain stock, verify pricing, and prepare the store for future tech integrations, contributing to sales and compliance throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• 1–2 years of experience coordinating teams.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Preferred: retail, culinary, and/or grocery experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure electronic shelf tags and Captana systems are functioning correctly.
• Serve as the point person for AI-powered cameras for in-stock tracking.
• Conduct regular out-of-stock checks and take corrective action to ensure availability.
• Manage planogram execution and ensure product placement accuracy.
• Own price accuracy across all departments, including signage and promotions.
• Support pricing integrity during item transitions and promos.
• Assist front-end operations during peak times as cashier or in other areas.
• Verify deals, promotions, and price changes for signage accuracy.
• Perform spot audits to resolve discrepancies and support pricing processes.
