Job summary

Honda Center in Anaheim is seeking an In-Seat Attendant to deliver quality food and beverage service to seating locations during events. You will work with the In-Seat Pantry Coordinator, bartenders, and servers to ensure timely, accurate orders and uphold safety and sanitation standards.

You must be at least 18, have strong communication, multitasking, and attention to detail, and be flexible to work varied schedules and temperatures. This role offers an hourly wage of $20.00.

Responsibilities

• Assist with prep and preparation of the In-Seat Pantry for service.

• Assist guests and direct them to the appropriate staff for non-F&B questions.
• Navigate the arena and assist guests as needed.
• Maintain excellent customer service.
• Support the Pantry Coordinator in expediting guest orders.
• Coordinate with operations to meet event service standards.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards and use gloves when handling food or beverages.
• Clean and sanitize high-contact surfaces and wash hands regularly.
• Assist other F&B departments as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Job Title: In-Seat Attendant
Pay Details: The starting hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.

The In-Seat Attendant is responsible for quality, hospitality, and customer service. The In-Seat Attendant works hand in hand with the In-Seat Pantry Coordinator, Bartenders, and Servers. In-Seat Attendants are responsible for the timely execution and accurate delivery of quality food and beverage items to seating locations around the Club Level. The In-Seat Attendant works with their counterparts to help maintain food quality, monitor hold times, and ensure the safety/sanitation standards of the department. Attendants are to assist with any other task the Food & Beverage Management team requests.

Responsibilities

• Help to prep and prepare the In-Seat Pantry for service
• Stay up to date on food and beverage menu items and accompaniments
• Help monitor and follow safe alcohol policies and procedures.
• Inform the In-Seat Supervisor/Manager of any guest issues or needs.
• Deliver guest orders in a timely manner to the correct location
• Be visible and ready to assist guests as needed, as well as direct guests to correct personnel for non-Food & Beverage related questions
• Be comfortable with the arena and know how to navigate personally, as well as assist guests
• Help maintain and ensure excellent customer service
• Assist the Pantry Coordinator in the In-Seat kitchen with expediting guest orders
• Work with counterparts of operation to ensure event standards of service are reached.
• Follow, adhere, and practice the Safety and Sanitation standards set forth by the Food & Beverage Department, including but not limited to social distancing and use of face mask/covering when in common areas, presence of guests, and where social distancing is not possible
• Use of gloves when handling guest food or beverage
• Clean and sanitize high-contact surfaces thatarefrequently used by guests and fellow employees
• Frequently wash hands, regardless of the use of gloves
• Support any other Food & Beverage departments as needed
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors and/or managers

Honda Center Celebrating over 25 years in the heart of Orange County, Honda Center stands as one of the premier entertainment and sports venues in the country. Home to the 2007 Stanley Cup champion Anaheim Ducks, the arena annually hosts top-name concerts, exciting sporting events, and family favorites. In just the past few years, sold-out crowds have filled the arena for events like UFC, The Rolling Stones, Justin Timberlake, Garth Brooks, Twenty One Pilots, and more. Since opening in 1993, Honda Center has hosted over 3,500 events and more than 35 million guests have walked through its doors. Our History Owned by the city of Anaheim, Honda Center officially opened as Anaheim Arena on June 19, 1993, with a sold-out Barry Manilow concert. In October of that same year, the venue was renamed Arrowhead Pond and hosted the first Mighty Ducks of Anaheim game. The year 2005 began a new era as Henry and Susan Samueli took ownership of both the team and the venue management company, Anaheim Arena Management, LLC. In 2006, the official name of the arena changed to Honda Center, along with the team to Anaheim Ducks.
