Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of educational programs by providing comprehensive assessments, evaluations, and instruction to meet the needs of students.
• Provide instruction, evaluation of student progress and achievement.
• Maintain accurate records, provide data to appropriate personnel.
• Plan regularly with staff and participate in appropriate school meetings and activities.
• Comply with policies, rules and regulations of the School District and State or federal regulatory agencies where appropriate.
• Plans a program of student that, as much as possible, meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students.
• Guides the learning process toward achievement of curriculum goals and establishes clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects to communicate these objectives to students, as adopted by the local and state Board of Education.
• Assists the administration in implementing all policies and rules governing student life and conduct, and for the classroom, develops reasonable rules of classroom behavior and procedure, and maintains order in the classroom if a fair and consistent manner.
• Makes provision for being available to students and parents for education related purposes outside the instructional day when required or requested to do so under reasonable terms.
• Promotes programs and public relations for the school’s programs and activities.
• Perform related duties as assigned
