Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio teaching certificate or license in Special Education.
• Familiarity with writing and meeting the needs of students on 504s and/or IEPs.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screenings.
• Alternatives to the above as the Board finds acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide instruction, in line with the Ohio Academic Standards, as needed, to students assigned to alternative learning environment (In-School Suspension).
• Communicate and collaborate with building staff members to create an environment for learning.
• Other duties as assigned.
