Job summary

Plano Independent School District (Plano ISD) is seeking an Educational Aide to support the In-School Suspension program. The role focuses on documenting student behavior, preparing notices, and maintaining order under supervision.

You will interact with teachers, counselors and the attendance clerk for students assigned to ISS. Responsibilities include recording behavior on points reports, managing lockers and parking tags, and assisting with discipline records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Valid Texas educational aide certificate.
• Some experience that demonstrates basic skills to perform tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare typed notices for teachers, counselors, and attendance clerk for each ISS student.
• Maintain discipline in ISS daily and promote good behavior.
• Record student behavior on a points earned report.
• Record and assign lockers to new and supervised students.
• Record information and issue parking tags to students; prepare deposit forms and collect money from tags.
• Prepare discipline reports for supervisor.
• Follow Plano ISD rules and directives from supervisors.
• Follow attendance policy as assigned by supervisor.
• Perform other duties assigned by administration or supervisor.
