Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Shelton, WA. This contract - full time position offers 35 hours per week, $42 per hour, and a school setting under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

The COTA will provide therapy services, document assessments and treatment data for students, with requirements including active OTA licensure in WA, a degree from an accredited program, pediatric experience preferred, and CPR if applicable.

Qualifications

• Current OTA certification or licensure in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• One year of OTA experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• CPR certification current if applicable.
• TB screening/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under OT supervision.
• Conduct treatment and implement standardized assessment data.
• Document therapy data and progress for students.
