Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated team member in San Francisco to prepare, deliver, and service orders in a restaurant and guestroom environment. Responsibilities include ensuring hospitality set-up and addressing any service needs. This union-represented role offers a pay rate between $15.42 and $20.57 per hour.

The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable about the service menu and guarantee a high standard of service during all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Must have complete knowledge of service time, menu, and specials.
• Prepare, deliver and service orders.
• Always inquire if additional service is needed.
• Responsible for each check.
• Responsible for pick-up tables and trays.
• Responsible for set-up, delivery and presentation of VIP amenity.
• Responsible for hospitality set-up.
• Must consult with supervisor on any food pick-up difficulty.
• Complete all side duties as assigned.
• Must minimize breakage.
• Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions.

Job description

Essential Functions

Tools and Equipment

• Coffee maker/urn, toaster, microwave, beverage machines, bus trays, dishware, silverware, glassware, queen-mary cart, telephone, pen/pencil, photo-copying machine
• Walk-in refrigerator, Room Service tables, hot box

Working Environment

• Interior of hotel, in the restaurant, kitchen and guestroom. Exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals.
• Exposure to food items and beverages.

Pay Rate: $15.42 - $20.57

Please note this is a union-represented position. Hours and shifts are not guaranteed and will be scheduled according to business needs, availability, and seniority requirements.
