Job summary

Omni Dallas Hotel in Downtown Dallas seeks a friendly server to deliver food orders to guest rooms and uphold exceptional service across our eight dining experiences. You will directly support guests, maintain superior presentation, and contribute to memorable stays for our patrons.

You will use MICROS, handle cash, and work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. Candidates must have Food Handlers and TABC or be willing to obtain them upon hire; strong English communication is

Qualifications

• Must have unexpired Food Handlers and TABC - or obtain upon hire.
• Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, members, management and co-workers, both in person and by telephone.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and multi task.
• Prior serving and cash handling experience preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts including weekends, and holidays.
• MICROS Experiencepreferred.

Responsibilities

• Must have complete knowledge of service time, menu, and specials.
• Prepare, deliver and service orders.
• Always inquire if additional service is needed.
• Responsible for each check.
• Responsible for pick-up tables and trays.
• Responsible for set-up, delivery and presentation of VIP amenity.
• Responsible for hospitality set-up.
• Must consult with supervisor on any food pick-up difficulty.
• Complete all side duties as assigned.
• Must minimize breakage.
• Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions.
