Job summary

Hyatt Palm Springs is seeking an In-Room Dining Server to stock, set up, and deliver all room service orders and property amenities to guest rooms, while maintaining a neat, sanitary work area. You will communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, and special requests to the kitchen and ensure correct posting in the POS system.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old (California law to handle alcoholic beverages).
• Previous experience at a hotel/resort preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock, set up, and deliver all room service orders and property amenities to guest rooms.
• Retrieve trays from guest rooms to maintain a neat and sanitary appearance.
• Be knowledgeable of all services provided within the hotel and all menu items.
• Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
• Ensure correct posting in POS system for communication to service and kitchen departments.

As an In Room Dining Server, your duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
