Job summary
Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail is seeking an In Room Dining Server to provide exceptional guest service by delivering food to guest rooms and ensuring quality and timeliness. You will check orders with kitchen and transport items to guestrooms while upholding standards.
The role requires at least one year of food service experience (hotel setting preferred), strong English communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule in the Colorado mountain environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of food service or related work.
- Experience in a hotel setting is a plus.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Fluency in English required.
- Working knowledge of computers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders to guest rooms accurately and timely.
- Maintain proper food quality and sanitary standards.
- Set up carts and guest amenities and coordinate with staff as needed.

The In Room Dining Server serves guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods. This position is responsible for delivery of food orders including any amenities, special needs or requests to the guest room. The In Room Dining Server will check completed kitchen orders with the order taker or guest’s original order and transport items to the guestroom in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
- Responsible for delivery of food orders in a timely manner while exuding a friendly and welcoming attitude in all guest interactions.
- Ensure proper food quality and set-up for service while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.
- Assist in setting up carts and guest amenities while communicating to staff, guests and kitchen as needed.
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
- Anticipate guest needs and communicate any requests through the proper channels.
- Minimum of one year of food service or related work, prior experience in a hotel setting preferred.
- Must be 18 years old or older per Colorado State Law.
- Must have working knowledge of computers.
- Accurate and efficient communication required for guest facing role.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and possess the ability to work autonomously.
- Fluency in English is required for this location and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States.
- Wage: $13.89 per hour plus gratuities
