Job summary

Sartiano's in SoHo is seeking an In-Room Dining Server to provide a clean and pleasant dining experience for hotel guests. You will collect and deliver food and beverage orders courteously and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of in-room dining in a luxury hotel, can work Monday-Thursday mornings, and demonstrates passion for food and beverage operations, professionalism, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in-room dining experience in luxury hotel environment.
• AM shifts - Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM availability.
• Passion for food and beverage operations.
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities

• Order Taking: Answer IRD phone/tablet, take detailed food/drink orders, note allergies/restrictions.
• Delivery: Deliver orders to guest rooms promptly, courteously, and accurately.
• Guest Interaction: Greet guests, answer menu questions, ensure satisfaction.
• Setup & Service: Set up tables/trays according to standards.
• Payment Processing: Record transactions, handle payments using Toast POS systems.
• Coordination: Communicate with the kitchen regarding orders, availability, and special requests.
• Maintenance: Clean work areas, restock supplies, perform opening/closing duties.

Sartiano's was created by prominent lifestyle architect, Scott Sartiano, with culinary direction from three-time James Beard award winner Chef Alfred Portale.

The Cuisine:

Alfred Portale will lead the culinary direction as the Chef managing Partner. The uniquely crafted menu hones in on a specialty to set the tone for the fine dining experience. Building off the foundation of offering specialized meats, Sartiano's establishes itself as an authentic Italian restaurant.

The Role:

The In-Room Dining Server will be responsible for providing a clean and pleasant dining experience for guests staying in the hotel. They will collect and deliver food and beverage orders courteously and efficiently. We are looking for someone available Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM To 12:00 PM.
