Job summary

Waldorf Astoria Park City is seeking an In‑Room Dining Order Taker / Cashier to join the Food and Beverage team in Park City, Utah. This 150‑room property features multiple outlets and a focus on elevated comfort food inspired by mountain regions.

You will answer Room Service calls, take and input orders, process payments, learn the menu, and upsell offerings while delivering the light and warmth of hospitality that define our brand.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or guest services.
• Strong communication and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to upsell and promote menu items.
• Accurate order taking and payment handling.

Responsibilities

• Delight our guests: Maintain upbeat, friendly attitude in all guest interactions and look for ways to make their experience special.
• Answer calls promptly: Respond to Room Service telephones and guest requests in a friendly, timely manner.
• Take orders with care: Capture food and beverage orders and input into the POS system without errors.
• Master the menu: Learn details of all menu items, promotions, and specials to confidently answer questions.
• Upsell Offerings: Suggest and promote food and beverage items and specials.
• Process payments with accuracy: Reconcile checks and gratuity, handle cash according to guidelines.
