Job summary

Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino is seeking an In-Room Dining Coordinator to record and process guest food and beverage orders, while providing menu suggestions and coordinating deliveries with servers.

Qualifications

• Requires a friendly, service-oriented approach to guests.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
• Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and order-taking tech is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer and process in-room dining orders via phone with accuracy.
• Provide menu recommendations and accommodate dietary requests when possible.
• Coordinate deliveries with in-room dining servers for timely service.
• Process room charges, credit cards, and cash payments.
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, promotions, and guest requests.
• Address inquiries professionally and solve guest issues.
• Ensure in-room dining procedures align with Hyatt service standards.
• Assist in coordinating amenities and special requests for guest rooms.
• Keep the in-room dining office area organized and clean.
