Veeco Instruments Inc. is looking for a Quality Technician for In-Process Inspection in Horsham, PA. This role will conduct inspections and quality checks during manufacturing to ensure compliance with quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, at least 2 years of experience in quality inspection, and technical certification preferred. The range for this position is $46,701-$68,494, including bonus opportunities, and comprehensive benefits including health insurance and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing quality or inspection.
• Experience in regulated or high-precision manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspections of parts and assemblies.
• Verify product conformance to specifications and work instructions.
• Record inspection results accurately in reports and quality systems.
• Identify and document nonconforming material.
• Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC)

Experience using standard measurement and inspection tools

Proficiency with basic computer applications (Excel, ERP/MES)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Technical certification in Manufacturing, Quality, or Engineering Technology
