You will use precision measuring instruments, collect related quality records, and operate a computer-based ERP system for data entry. The role supports continuous improvement and requires strong attention to detail and clear communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant quality inspection experience.
• Comfortable using computers and learning software programs.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process quality inspections on product as it is being produced.
• Promptly identify, document and communicate quality concerns to appropriate personnel to minimize impact on production processes and maintain high levels of quality.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, and other inspection tools.
• Collect and maintain related quality records.
• Use of a computer-based ERP system for data entry.
• Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials.
• Assist in first article and sampling inspections, as requested.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities, as requested.
• Assist with audits and quality system documentation, as needed.
