Job summary

Timken Company is seeking an Inspector to conduct in-process and bench inspections of inner/outer rings, rolling elements, retainers, and outsourced rings on the manufacturing floor. You will review documents, operate gauging equipment, and ensure paperwork accuracy to meet QA specifications.

The role requires high school diploma, strong math, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team. Prior manufacturing and SAP exposure are a plus; safety and record-keeping are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent shop math competency and ability to learn new processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and teamwork.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience reading and interpreting prints preferred.
• Experience with metrology equipment preferred.
• SAP experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and bench inspections on the Manufacturing Floor, RLR Sort Room, Retainer Inspection, and Receiving Inspection.
• Set up gauging equipment and follow process sheets, drawings, and QA instructions.
• Record inspection data and maintain accurate records; report irregularities to supervisor.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas and observe safety rules.
