Job summary

PacSci EMC in Hollister, CA is seeking an In Process Inspector to perform visual, mechanical and electrical inspections in manufacturing areas with minimal supervision. You will interpret drawings and follow established procedures to ensure quality and accurate documentation.

The role requires solid math and record-keeping skills, and the ability to work with diverse teams. IPC/J-Standard certification is preferred; bonus eligibility is offered as part of total compensation.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; IPC or J-Standard certification preferred.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and written work instructions.
  • Proficiency with mechanical measuring tools (calipers, micrometer).
  • Strong math, written, verbal and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Performs visual, mechanical and electrical inspection per procedures with minimum supervision.

Hollister, CA, United StatesSummary:We are hiring immediately for a full time, In Process Inspector. This position requires the ability to perform visual, mechanical and electrical inspection functions in manufacturing areas under minimum supervision. The individual must be dedicated to the quality function and have a drive to enhance the quality of both the product and processes.Key Responsibilities:Performs limited repetitive dimensional and electrical inspection using basic equipment and established procedures with minimum supervision.Need to have mechanical aptitude with an ability to execute good record keeping practices as a major part of the duties.Must be detail-oriented and adept at accuracy.Must be flexible and able to work with a variety of different people and in different areas depending on business needs.Interpret drawings and written work instructions.Must possess strong mathematical abilities, computer literate and be comfortable using different applications.Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.If required, attend offsite training classes to maintain certification requirements.
