Job summary

IGT is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector II for Shipping Compliance/Software Duplication Inspector roles in Reno, NV. The QA team supports electronic gaming products from design to production, ensuring high quality and compliance across global customers.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in QA/manufacturing, with experience in electronic products and gaming devices, and the ability to obtain Nevada Gaming Registration.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years in a Quality Inspection/QA environment preferred.
  • 2–5 years of progressively responsible manufacturing experience, including quality inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic products or gaming machines and related peripherals/firmware.
  • Associate degree, High School diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Registration.
  • Willingness to support various areas within the Quality Assurance organization.
  • Availability to work the swing shift schedule of 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
  • Ability to successfully pass a security/background investigation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the QA team in meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Inspect, test, and troubleshoot gaming machines and related peripherals/firmware as part of production and release.
  • Maintain quality documentation, procedures, and work instructions to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a Quality Inspection or Quality Assurance environment preferred.
  • With 2 to 5 years of progressively responsible manufacturing experience, including quality inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic products or gaming machines and related peripherals/firmware.
  • Associate degree, High School diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Registration.
  • Willingness to support various areas within the Quality Assurance organization.
  • Availability to work the swing shift schedule of 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
  • Ability to successfully pass a security/background investigation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of gaming machine product platforms and associated technologies.
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations, production processes, and workflow best practices.
  • Experience using SAP for data retrieval, reporting, and production support.
  • Knowledge of quality standards, inspection methodologies, and quality control processes.
  • Experience utilizing Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPIs) and Test Process Instructions (TPIs).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve quality-related issues.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including skills, experience, education, and geographic location. These factors may result in variation in starting pay. The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $21/hr-$26/hr USD, based on a good‑faith assessment at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary. IGT complies with all applicable pay transparency and compensation laws and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is one component of IGT’s total rewards program. Depending on the role, employees may be eligible for bonus or commission opportunities.
