Applied Medical is seeking an Inspection Operations Associate to lead the In-Process Inspection team, drive quality and efficiency, and partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality to resolve issues. The role emphasizes KPI ownership, data-driven improvements, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Leadership and project management experience with strong presentation skills.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments; ability to manage processes and teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP or similar systems.
• Experience creating or updating procedural documentation and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and support In-Process Inspection personnel while maintaining a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate daily inspection activities, staffing, and workload distribution to support production and quality objectives.
• Ensure dimensional, visual, and documentation inspections are performed accurately and in compliance with quality requirements.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve non-conformances and drive corrective actions.
• Establish, monitor, and improve inspection-related KPIs, including quality, throughput, and defect trends.
• Utilize SAP and other systems to manage inspection data, reporting, and labor utilization.
