Job summary

MRG Exams is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to conduct medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA disability benefits process. You will review records electronically, perform focused exams, and document findings in the VA portal.

Position is in-person, part-time (1-2 days/week), and involves assessing 3-5 Veterans daily in a clinical setting. You will not treat or prescribe medications, and disability determinations are made by the VA.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, unrestricted NP or PA license.
• Credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records electronically through a web portal.
• Perform a focused, in-person physical exam on each Veteran.
• Electronically document exam findings required by the VA.
• Disability assessments; not the disability determinations.
• Work with 3-5 Veterans per day in a clinical setting.
