Work Environment

This position primarily offers a remote work setting through our telehealth facility, allowing you to connect with clients in a comfortable and flexible manner. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate individual patient needs. This arrangement enhances your work-life balance while ensuring you reach clients who may benefit the most from your expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gain insights into clients' unique experiences, values, and needs, enabling the development of effective treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches, tailored specifically to the cultural backgrounds and personal histories of individual clients.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, addressing a wide spectrum of mental health concerns and fostering resilience through holistic treatment approaches.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to ensure that clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care throughout their treatment journey.
• Offer crisis intervention services to support clients during mental health emergencies, demonstrating a calm and effective response in high-pressure situations.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards, ensuring high levels of diligence and respect for client privacy.
• Actively engage in case conferences and team meetings, sharing insights and strategies while participating in cultural competency training sessions to enhance practice effectiveness.
• Stay updated on current research, best practices, and cultural considerations in mental health therapy to continually improve the quality of care provided.

In your role, you will engage with a richly diverse client population, including ethnic and cultural minority groups, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrants adapting to new environments. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of Texas.
• A strong foundation in mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities with an emphasis on cultural competence.
• Experience delivering individual and group therapy, using responsive and inclusive therapeutic approaches that foster patient engagement and growth.
• Excellent crisis intervention skills, with a proven ability to remain calm and effective in challenging situations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms, ensuring accuracy in documentation and patient tracking.
• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries, ethical guidelines, and client confidentiality throughout your practice.

Compensation and Benefits
