Rapport International is seeking qualified interpreters to provide in-person Somali interpretation for clients in the Boston area. This independent contractor role offers flexible hours, with schedules based on client needs.

You must be fully bilingual, have interpreting experience and certification, and be available Monday through Friday 7 AM–5 PM. You should have transportation, a printer, and the ability to set up for video calls when required.

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual and able to interpret across languages.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality/HIPPA compliance.
• IN PERSON interpreters only; must have transportation to attend appointments locally.
• Technical skills for learning/using online portal; printing and uploading vouchers required.
• Must have access to a printer.
• Interpreting experience and certification REQUIRED.
• Proper setup to do video calls as needed.
• Simultaneous interpreting experience preferred.
• Background checks required.
• Schedule is PRN; some availability M-F 7AM-5PM.

Responsabilités
