Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) for Fremont, CA. Three openings exist for a 9-month school-year contract with a 37.5-hour work week and in-person duties at elementary, middle, and high schools.

Candidates must hold an active CA SLP license; CCC-SLP preferred. Competitive hourly pay up to $85, with benefits and the chance to contribute to diverse student populations.

Qualifications

• Active California SLP licensure required.
• CCC-SLP preferred; school-based exp preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Must meet state and federal requirements.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB/health certificates per contract.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and student support planning
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
