Job summary

Korak Global Healthcare Services is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language services to students in Washington, DC public schools. The SLP will deliver direct and indirect services, conduct assessments, and collaborate with teachers, families, and the school-based team.

This full-time, in-person W-2 position requires working on-site in DCPS locations and maintaining licensed credentials while supporting student communication outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Active DC DOH SLP license.
• DC OSSE School SLP credential required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Minimum one year of school-based SLP experience in public/charter schools.
• Experience with IEP case management and caseload of 35+ students.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate.
• Based in the Washington, DC area and able to work on-site at DCPS locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect speech-language services in a school-based setting.
• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments and plan interventions.
• Develop and monitor SLP goals aligned with IEPs and service plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to case management.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and service logs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Follow applicable laws and professional standards (DCPS, OSSE, IDEA, FERPA, HIPAA).
• Attend required meetings and maintain licenses in good standing.
