Sheppard Pratt is seeking a Rehabilitation Specialist in Timonium, MD. The role centers on direct care for individuals in psychiatric rehabilitation, providing a safe, therapeutic environment and one-on-one client support to promote independence and wellbeing.

Responsibilities include ensuring medication compliance, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, transporting clients to appointments, and overseeing food service operations while adhering to health regulations.

Competenze

• Requires ServSafe certification upon hire or within 60 days
• Possesses knowledge of CACFP program or willingness to learn
• CPR/First Aid and other trainings may be required
• Driver’s license with 3 points or less preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, high school diploma or GED required

Mansioni

• Provide one-on-one client support to build skills for independent living and socialization
• Ensure medication compliance and maintain safety, dosage, and cleanliness
• Collaborate with service team to develop and implement individual service plans
• Provide transportation and accompany clients to medical appointments, documenting follow-up instructions
• Ensure sanitation, health regulations, and CACFP documentation are accurate and timely
• Assist in daily food operations and catering, ensuring meals are appealing and delivered hot
• Monitor portion and inventory control and assist in food purchases and deliveries
• Build rapport with clients as part of their support system
