Job summary

Veritas-HHS seeks a Caseworker for the 32nd Judicial District Child Support Services in Tennessee, based in Hohenwald. This is an in-person, full-time position with a starting pay of $16.00 per hour.

The Caseworker will manage caseloads to establish paternity, medical and child support orders, and enforcement actions, ensuring parents meet financial obligations. Experience in a legal or government environment and strong communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in a legal environment or government case processing preferred.
• Education can be substituted for years of experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, participate in a team environment and uphold office goals and core values.

Responsibilities

• Analyze case information and take steps per State policies and procedures.
• Conduct interviews and collect necessary information; refer to community services.
• Prepare legal documents and correspondence related to a case.
• Keep case information current in state systems and support automated actions.
• Perform annual reviews on assigned cases.
• Conduct initial locate activities and track performance through reports.
• Receive and resolve customer problems and complaints.
• Update state system with new information and records of contacts.
