Job summary

Impact Public Schools seeks a Substitute Lead Teacher to support early and elementary learners across multiple Seattle-area locations (Tukwila, South Seattle, Renton). This part-time, in-person role focuses on delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive classroom environment.

You hold a Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field, are OSPI-certified or eligible, and have or will obtain a food handler certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education/related field is required.
• OSPI certification with endorsement in Elementary Education or eligibility within 1 month.
• Food handler certification is required or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere and manage behavior effectively.
• Execute core teaching practices and develop lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
• Model Impact core values and foster belonging for all students.
• Collaborate with colleagues and engage in professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
