Job summary

Rocky Mountain Prep is seeking a passionate Middle School English Language Development teacher to support Multilingual Language Learners using the E.L. Achieve curriculum.

You will foster an inclusive, rigorous classroom where students access high-quality instruction and develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. You will collaborate with peers to align with RMP’s PEAK values, participate in coaching and professional development, and leverage data to monitor progress and tailor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree (any subject).
• Subject matter expertise required, as evidenced by either a record of results in teaching the content or a content-specific degree.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, inclusive instruction using the E.L. Achieve curriculum.
• Build a culturally responsive classroom and foster student engagement.
• Adapt lessons for varying proficiency levels and manage typical class sizes of 15–25 students.
• Use data and data platforms (e.g., Illuminate) to track progress and adjust instruction.
• Establish strong classroom management and collaborative learning.
