York County Community College (YCCC) seeks an Adjunct Faculty Instructor in Mathematics for our Wells campus. This part-time, adjunct role involves delivering high-quality instruction, teaching QR courses, and preparing course materials in-person on-site in Wells.

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics or closely related field, and must be eligible to work in the United States. This is a non-benefit position under the MCCS/MSEA Adjunct Faculty Unit agreement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mathematics or closely related field required.
• Available to teach on campus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction in-person at Wells campus.
• Prepare and update course materials, including syllabi and assessments.
• Provide timely feedback and guidance to students and maintain office hours.
• Assess student performance using quizzes, exams, and assignments and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with department to ensure curriculum alignment with program goals.
• Contribute to curriculum development and stay informed about advancements in the field.
• Engage in professional development and participate in college meetings and events.
• Maintain accurate attendance and grading records in compliance with college policies.
