MaineGuide in Kentucky is seeking a licensed mental health professional to provide assessment, treatment, psychotherapy, and case management to a diverse client base.

The role involves risk assessment, referrals to needed services, collaboration with schools, law enforcement, probation, and other providers, and maintaining accurate records. In-person work location is required and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mental health counseling basics, including emotional, substance use, and social issues.
• Knowledge of legal implications, including HIPAA involved in providing mental health services.
• Evaluates patient needs and plans appropriate interventions.
• Arranges or refers patients to needed services and supports.
• Collaborates with law enforcement, probation and parole, schools and employers as requested.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and treatment including psychotherapy as needed.
• Coordinate case management and crisis intervention when required.
• Maintain concise, legible patient records and documentation.
• Refer patients to services and coordinate with other providers.
• Collaborate with external agencies to support client care across systems.
