The Tutorverse, LLC in NYC is seeking an experienced educator for grade 3-7 academic support and test prep to help students succeed. This role involves in-person sessions across Manhattan with occasional Zoom deliveries.

The Tutorverse is hiring an experienced educator for grade 3-7 academic support and test prep in the NYC area to help our students achieve!

Requirements

• Academic Support Experience: Applicants must have at least 3 years’ experience in helping support grade 3-7 students in both ELA and math (science and/or history are a bonus).
• Test Prep Experience: Applicants must have experience in helping grade 3-7 students prepare for both ELA and math NY state tests (SHSAT, HSPT/TACHS, Hunter HS, or other entrance exams are a huge bonus and pay a higher rate).
• Location: Applicants must be available to travel to students for in-person instruction within NYC, primarily in Manhattan.
• Tech fluency: Since many in-person families are occasionally unable to meet in person, we will be asking you to deliver lessons via Zoom as you might with a real tutoring client - think of this like role playing with your interviewer being a student.
