Job summary

Senior Care Therapy is actively seeking Licensed Professional Counselors to provide in-person psychotherapy to geriatric residents in Silver Spring, Maryland. Roles offer flexible full-time or part-time arrangements with support handling billing, credentialing, and administrative tasks.

Clinicians will partner with skilled nursing facilities, contributing to patient mood and function while maintaining regulatory compliance and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted LPC license in the state applying for.
• Excellent oral and written English communication.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
• Ability to provide in-person services at facilities, up to 45 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients in subacute or skilled nursing facilities.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and families to support care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EHR.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
