Job summary

Grade Potential Tutoring is seeking a tutor to work with a 10th-grade student needing geometry help. Sessions are in-person at the family’s home in Lower Burrell, PA, with weekly 1-hour slots on either Tuesday afternoon or Thursday afternoon/evening.

The tutor should bring materials and teaching methods to fit the student’s needs. Ideal candidates have tutoring experience, are able to travel within 5-10 miles, and are not minors due to insurance requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or tutoring in a formal or informal setting.
• Willing to travel within a 5-10 mile radius to meet the student.
• Applicant must not be a minor due to insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person geometry tutoring sessions at the student’s home in Lower Burrell, PA.
• Schedule one 60-minute session weekly on Tue 3pm–8pm or Thu 3pm–5:30pm.
• Use your own materials and teaching methods to support the student’s learning.
• Log sessions and invoices through the easy-to-use platform.
