Job summary

Kelly Education in Bridgeton, NJ seeks an in-person ELA tutor to support K-8 students during the school day. You will work in small groups, align with district curricula, and collaborate with teachers and administrators to address learning gaps.

Strong communication, dedication to student growth, and the ability to follow guidance from teachers are essential. A Bachelor's degree and tutoring experience are preferred; training and ongoing development are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Previous tutoring/teaching experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in small group sessions with students during school. These sessions are in-person.
• Understand student learning gaps based on information given to you and teach district-provided curriculum that is tailored to each student's need.
• Also assist with homework, projects, and other academic tasks.
• Foster strong and positive relationships with students through significant, consistent, and regular amounts of time.
• Evaluate and report student progress.
• Work in collaboration with classroom teachers and school administration, under the direct supervision of the Kelly® Education Tutoring Solutions Team.
