Qualifications

• Master's degree in education or related field required; doctorate strongly preferred.
• Current teacher certification in Elementary Education required; additional Early Childhood certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Oklahoma Academic Standards and teacher preparation expectations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to collaboration, mentoring, and professional excellence.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-person undergraduate courses in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, and Professional Education.
• Advise teacher candidates and support program planning and field experiences.
• Participate in accreditation processes (CAEP, OEQA) and assessment initiatives; contribute to program review and curriculum alignment.
• Collaborate with faculty on program development, curriculum alignment, and recruitment activities.
• Support recruitment, retention, and campus service opportunities; engage in professional development.
