Job summary

Oklahoma Baptist University invites applications for a full-time, in-person faculty position in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and/or graduate education courses, advise teacher candidates, participate in accreditation and assessment initiatives, and contribute to preparing Christ-centered educators.

The role may include leadership in the MAT program as the School of Education expands graduate offerings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education required; doctorate strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Oklahoma certification requirements and teacher preparation expectations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to collaboration, mentoring, and professional excellence.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-person undergraduate courses in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education.
• Design engaging, developmentally appropriate, standards-aligned learning experiences.
• Integrate Christian faith and worldview throughout instruction.
• Maintain current syllabi, assignments, and materials aligned with standards and accreditation.
• Provide timely feedback and assessment of candidate performance.
