Job summary

Oklahoma Baptist University invites applications for a full-time, in-person faculty position in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses, advise teacher candidates, participate in accreditation and assessment initiatives, and help prepare Christ-centered educators.

Ideal candidates hold a master’s in education (doctorate preferred), current Elementary Education certification, and a commitment to faith integration,

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Education or related field required.
Doctorate degree in Education or related field preferred.
Current teacher certification in Elementary Education required; Early Childhood certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Teach in-person undergraduate courses in Elementary and Early Childhood Education and Professional Education.
Advise teacher candidates and maintain regular office hours.
Participate in accreditation efforts (CAEP/OEQA) and assessment initiatives.
Collaborate on program development, curriculum alignment, and student mentoring.
