Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana in Fort Wayne is seeking Adjunct Faculty to deliver assigned classes in person, using campus policies and course objectives to guide instruction. You will develop syllabi, lesson plans, assessments, and maintain accurate student records while engaging with students to promote active learning and a positive campus experience.

Qualifications

• Must have strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to area of instruction.
• Diversity appreciation and promotion in teaching.
• Transcripts and/or relevant certifications/licenses required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates student learning by delivering assigned classes in accordance with College policy and course objectives.
• Makes optimal use of available technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Develops/maintains course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials.
• Maintains accurate student records, grades, and other requirements.
• Engages with students in meaningful and productive ways that impact student learning and lead to a positive Ivy Tech experience.

Education

Master's degree in related field or 18 graduate hours in communication
