Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Career Coach for full-time, on-site work at one of its campuses. You will lead life-skills workshops for K-8 students, run daily motivation sessions, and guide learners to 100% of their weekly app goals using Coachbot analytics and school incentives.

The role emphasizes coaching over traditional classroom instruction, with responsibility for adapting content to different ages and maintaining high engagement. Relocation support is provided for selected locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any subject.
• At least 3 years working directly with K-8 students: teaching, tutoring, coaching, or camp leadership.
• Legal right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Willing to work in person at an Alpha campus in Scottsdale, AZ; relocation support provided.
• Comfortable letting adaptive learning software deliver instruction while you own motivation coaching.
• A proven record of high achievement and the ability to maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

• Run one-hour life-skills workshops for K-8 cohorts on public speaking, focus, and giving/receiving feedback.
• Conduct daily 1:1 and small-group motivation sessions using Coachbot analytics and Alpha incentives.
• Administer Test2Pass mastery assessments and re-coach until mastery.
• Adapt workshop playbook and develop new sessions for different ages.
• Be the consistent, trusted adult who upholds standards and connects with students.
