Job summary

Ivy Tech Evansville seeks an adjunct faculty member to support Anatomy and Physiology instruction at the Tell City, IN campus. This part-time role involves creating a learning environment, delivering effective instruction, and assessing student work under common syllabi.

Responsibilities include teaching in-person classes, providing syllabi, maintaining attendance and grading records, and using Blackboard/Canva/PowerPoint as needed. Start in August for the spring term with variable evening hours.

Qualifications

• Must possess amaster's degree, or higher, in a biological science.
• Experience teaching at a post-secondary institute is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all instructional duties necessary to teach and facilitate student learning in assigned classes.
• Provide syllabus appropriate to course being taught and follow syllabus content and requirements.
• Maintain attendance and grading records per College policy.
• Submit requested information within established timelines.
• Be available to students outside scheduled class time to answer questions and provide assistance.
• Meet all scheduled classes of contracted course and use appropriate technology (Blackboard, Canva, PowerPoint).
