The John R. Post School of Engineering at Alvernia University invites applications to its adjunct faculty pool in Electrical Engineering. We seek professionals to teach both lecture and laboratory courses in person in Reading, Pennsylvania. Most engineering courses are taught at the John R.

Post Center, Reading, PA, with some activities potentially using other Alvernia Reading locations. Applicants must be available for weekday daytime teaching, primarily between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or closely related field.
• Approximately five or more years of relevant professional experience.
• Completion of FE, EIT, and/or PE licensure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach both lecture and laboratory courses in person in Reading, Pennsylvania.
• Avail weekday daytime teaching hours, primarily between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
• Support program accreditation considerations and maintain ABET standards.
